Bretonnia seems to me in this present edition, infact, to clearly be a "large human realm" with a "feudal" feel. True, the horde aspect is generally not played (I personally am in fact building up a horde army slowly -- because of funds and time), but it is surely possible. Sep 21, 2016 · In my humble opinion, Bretonnia in 3rd edition was too much historical and different from the actual, "Arthurian" army. You've got 4 different types of Knights, yes (from +4 shock elite as Chevaliers d'honneur, then Notre dame de la battaile and chevaliers rampants to Noblesse d'Epee) but for the rest, there's little more than just adapting historical units to fit the Old World.

Nov 21, 2018 · I usually do not agree with CapnZapp, but the game does feel unnecessarily fiddly. Nowhere near third edition, which we did not like, but still, there is a lot to keep track of. I have not given up on the system yet. I want to know it inside out before I run another session of it. I just have not been smooth GMing it yet.
